Overview

Zupply, a wholesale food ordering platform for suppliers and distributors, engaged Bow & Arrow Creative to develop a clear product communication piece for the launch of Zupply Premium.

The business had already established a comprehensive brand identity — including typography, colour, graphic textures and iconography — but the system had not yet been translated into a cohesive customer-facing publication.

The brief was to create a brochure that could introduce the platform, communicate its value with clarity, and support a national print distribution campaign.

The project began with a close review of the existing brand assets, messaging and user context. From there, an editorial structure was developed to organise complex product information into a simple, accessible narrative.

Our role was to activate the existing identity as a functional communication system. Curved graphic motifs, derived from the logo, were used to frame imagery, create section anchors and guide the reader through the content. The same visual language was extended into image treatment, helping integrate photography into a more structured page rhythm.

An expanded icon system was also developed to support the communication of product features, bringing clarity to information that could otherwise feel technical or dense.
Typography and layout establish a steady rhythm throughout — balancing product explanation, interface visuals and key messaging while maintaining a confident, professional tone.

The result is a brochure that positions Zupply Premium as a clear and considered offering, while creating a strong foundation for future sales materials and digital brand extensions.

Overview

The Curious Gardeners is an artist-led boutique plant business centred around botanical compositions — living arrangements designed as expressive objects rather than traditional retail plants.

Bow & Arrow Creative was engaged to develop both the name and identity, positioning the work within a more considered, artistic context. The brief called for a complete brand system that could support pop-up retail, packaging, social media and digital platforms — while leaving space for future extensions.

A key consideration was balance. The identity needed to feel coherent and structured, while allowing the handmade, expressive nature of the work to remain intact.

The project began with naming, followed by a typographic identity designed to function as both logo and graphic system.

The wordmark is intentionally simple and adaptable — allowing the botanical work to interact directly with the typography. In practice, this creates a system that evolves with the work itself.

Plants, vessels and seasonal arrangements become part of the brand expression, rather than something applied to it. The visual language was then extended across digital platforms, social media and retail materials — from packaging and signage to animated logo treatments and merchandise.

The result is a brand that feels expressive, playful and quietly distinctive.

Strategic Brand Retainer

Overview

Home Estate Agents engaged Bow & Arrow Creative on a long-term retainer to review, refine and evolve the brand across all touchpoints.

The work began with a comprehensive audit of the agency’s existing identity, marketing and digital presence. This process looked closely at how the brand was showing up — internally and externally — identifying inconsistencies across messaging, visual application and market positioning.

From there, a clear direction emerged. The aim was to bring alignment between how the agency operated, how it communicated, and how it was experienced in the market.
A refined identity system and practical set of brand assets were developed to support day-to-day use across property marketing, office environments and digital platforms.

Over time, the work extended beyond identity into ongoing brand stewardship. This included messaging development, campaign direction, website evolution, content strategy and seasonal initiatives designed to strengthen connection with the local community.

Overview

Coogee Surf Life Saving Club required a considered redesign of its Annual Report to better reflect the scale, professionalism and long-standing role of the organisation within the local community.

The brief was not simply to redesign a single edition, but to establish a clear publication framework capable of supporting the Club’s reporting needs year after year.

The project began with a close review of legacy reports, club archives and existing visual assets. Drawing on the design language established through the Club’s centenary publication A Century of Vigilance & Service, the aim was to develop a system that respected tradition while introducing clarity, structure and consistency across contemporary reporting requirements.

A flexible editorial system was developed to accommodate a wide range of content — including operational reporting, financial summaries, member recognition, awards and archival material. Graphic elements were informed by the functional tools of surf lifesaving practice, with rope and knot forms translated into a restrained line-based visual language that connected the publication to the Club’s heritage.

Colour was introduced as a navigational tool, mapping major sections of the report and supporting clear wayfinding through complex information. A contemporary serif typeface provided the backbone of the typographic system, balanced with a rope-inspired accent typeface used sparingly to reinforce the graphic identity.

Over seven consecutive editions, the publication evolved through measured refinement rather than reinvention — maintaining consistency, legibility and recognisability while adapting to the Club’s changing reporting needs.

The result is a durable editorial system designed for longevity — a publication framework capable of carrying the Club’s story forward each year while remaining grounded in its heritage.

Overview

A Century of Vigilance & Service is a 100-year historical publication for the Coogee Surf Life Saving Club — one of the oldest surf life saving clubs in Australia.

Initiated by life member and club historian Joe Seddon, the project brought together an extensive archive of photographs, records and narrative accounts spanning more than a century of activity and community history.

Delivered over an 18-month period, the brief required a considered approach to structure, hierarchy and long-form readability.

Prue Torres, founder of Bow & Arrow Creative, led the creative direction while heading the Artgrafics Design team to develop a robust publication system capable of holding a large and varied body of content without visual fragmentation.

The work focused on establishing clarity across scale — guiding the reader through timelines, chapters and archival material while maintaining consistency across shifting eras and source quality.

Rather than imposing a contemporary aesthetic, the design allows the archive to remain central — supported by a restrained typographic system and a clear editorial framework.

The final publication exceeds 800 pages and more than 3,000 images, resulting in a substantial, museum-quality volume.

Overview

The Style Bar is a Paris-based styling practice spanning personal wardrobe, interiors and creative direction. They are a long-term client, initially engaged to develop a standalone logo.

As the founder’s practice expanded the original identity no longer supported the breadth of the work.

Our role evolved from logo design into the development of a comprehensive brand system — repositioning the business at a more refined, editorial level while allowing for ongoing growth.

The brief required a flexible identity that could move consistently across digital platforms, client documentation and future product extensions — including bespoke fabrics and interior applications.

In response, the identity was restructured into a modular system of logo variations, graphic elements and typographic rules.

Mediterranean references and classical ornamentation informed the visual language, with hand-drawn motifs establishing a distinct but adaptable foundation.

A considered colour framework was introduced to support both consistency and seasonal variation, allowing the brand to evolve naturally across content, campaigns and environments.

Beyond the core identity, a broader visual toolkit was developed — extending the system across digital, editorial and print applications.

This included the development of a graphic library, typography system and digital assets, ensuring cohesion while enabling flexibility across touchpoints.

As the business continues to grow, the work remains ongoing — with current phases focused on website refinement and the extension of the brand into a more complete digital and eCommerce environment.

Overview

Elevacion is a founder-led perfume brand conceived, designed and developed by Prue Torres, Founder and Creative Director of Bow & Arrow Creative.

Created as a fully integrated design project, Elevacion was developed as an end-to-end brand system — bringing together identity, packaging, product design, digital platforms, content and experiential environments under a single creative direction.

As a live brand in market, the project extends beyond concept into full authorship — spanning initial ideation through to production, launch and ongoing evolution. This allows the work to operate not as a static outcome, but as a continuously refined system shaped through real-world application.

At its core, Elevacion explores scent as both material and ritual. The design language is deliberately restrained, avoiding overt symbolism in favour of structure, proportion and material presence. Meaning is not applied — it emerges through composition, consistency and use.

Each element is developed in relation to the whole. Identity, packaging, content and digital experience function as interconnected parts of a cohesive ecosystem, rather than isolated outputs.

The result is a multi-layered brand expressed consistently across physical products, packaging, digital platforms and immersive scent experiences — demonstrating how thoughtful, disciplined design can translate complex, sensory ideas into clear and scalable systems.

Elevacion continues to evolve as both a commercial brand and an ongoing exploration of integrated creative direction.
